It emerged final week that Toyota has trademarked the Yaris and 86 GR names to be used in European markets, hinting of an impending launch within the continent. Now, Toyota in Spain has launched a teaser for a “GT86 by Toyota Gazoo Racing” with the caption “It’s all a matter of ardour for pace.”
Taking its title from Toyota’s Gazoo Racing racing division, the GR model provides various efficiency elements that transcend the GR Sport’s primary bodykit and suspension upgrades. In Japan, the 86 GR receives 17-inch Rays alloys, Recaro seats, a Torsen limited-slip differential and Brembo brakes with six-piston entrance and four-piston rear callipers.
All these go on high of the GR Sport bundle for the sports activities automotive, which include a bodykit, Sachs dampers and some different aesthetic and mechanical tweaks.
