There are fears Hawthorn celebrity Tom Mitchell has damaged his leg in an innocuous incident at AFL coaching.
The reigning Brownlow medallist suffered the damage throughout a tackling drill on Friday morning, AFL Media studies.
An ambulance was pushed onto the floor of the membership’s Waverley Park base and a Hawthorn physician accompanied Mitchell to hospital for additional evaluation, based on different studies.
