Nissan showcased its enhanced model line-up featuring the next-generation technology, best efficiency and performance at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland. 2013 Nissan GT-R : The 2013 Nissan GT-R made its European debut with more technical improvement and enhancement, which delivers best driving dynamics with high performance. Under the hood, 2013 GR-R is loaded with 3.8 Litre V6 Engine which has new high-output injectors to deliver precise control over fuelling, a new relief valve for the turbocharger which delivers enhanced turbo response and maintains throttle response. All these improvements in the 2013 GT-R makes it sprint 0 to 100 km/hour in amazing 2.7 seconds, which is an improvement of 0.1 seconds over its 2011 version. The new enhancements in the chassis makes it more stronger with better suspension control, where the new front suspension cam bolts improves the camber accuracy and stability when cornering, and uprated driveshafts for improved reliability. Nissan Juke n-tec : The new Juke n-tec is a Nissan’s special edition compact Crossover debut at Geneva. It is equipped with many advanced features like 5.8-inch colour touchscreen, satellite navigation and Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones and music players, the new system incorporates Google’s Send-To-Car technology, also advanced function like a motorway ‘exit view’ complete with lane guidance to help when leaving highways, displays prevailing speed limits and Over-Speed warning alert. In the exterior beauty, the new Juke n-tec has stylish 18-inch black and silver alloy wheels and offered in any colour from Juke’s eight-shade palette and there are three interior colours available: grey, red and a new light grey featuring the unique centre console, inspired by a motorcycle fuel tank, is finished in carbon black in n-tec models.
There are three engine options with one diesel and two petrol. The 1.5 Litre dCi diesel variant has an output of 110 PS which is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission, while it generates low CO2 emission of 124 grams/km. The naturally aspirated 1.6 Litre petrol generates an output of 117 PS which is offered with either a 5-speed manual or an advanced XTRONIC CVT gearbox. Nissan’s Stop/Start System is available on manual versions and helps reduces CO2 levels from 139 grams/km to 136 grams/km. The top range in engine is impressive 1.6 Litre DIG-T[Direct Injection Gasoline – Turbocharged], which is a compact 4-cylinder engine uses direct petrol injection coupled with a turbocharger to develop an amazing output of 190 PS with front-wheel drive and 6-speed manual gearbox, while the four-wheel drive vaiant features the Nissan’s XTRONIC M-CVT transmission with a 6-speed manual mode.
It will available only as a coupe with a 6-speed manual gearbox, featuring a distinct specification designed for the Europe customers. The technically advanced driving dynamics for better handling and comfort,with the rear- wheel drive for exciting driving experience. Enhancing braking by introducing the high rigidity brake hose and high performance brake fluid from the R35 GT-R. An exclusive Nismo dual exhaust system also enhances and amplifies the thrilling sound of the Nismo Z.Nissan LEAF : The European-manufactured Nissan’s new Note is presented with a world debut at the Geneva. The Zero Emission mobility is showcased with advanced technology by introducing the Safety Shield to the B-segment with the convenience of Nissan’s Around View Monitor parking aid system, Safety Shield introduces Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Moving Object Detection in one accessible package. All these advanced technology in a compact car provide better safety inside and outside.
