Nissan Qashqai 360 started the sale in Europe from UK

Nissan has just launched a new Crossover of Qashqai range – the Nissan Qashqai 360 – which is first launched to sale in UK with a starting price tag £19,945. Nissan is quite confident with the new range of Qashqai to be the best selling Crossover more than n-tec+ model. The Qashqai 360 is launched to replace the n-tec+ model and is lying in the segment between Acenta and Tekna trims. The Qashqai 360 is available with various version of petrol and diesel engine and transmission options. The 360 is also available in both the Qashqai 5-door and Qashqai+2 range. By the analysis of Qashqai 360 1.6 dCi diesel variant with stop/start technology will be the most selling model due to its higher fuel efficiency of combined(city+highway) cyle -62.8mpg with low emission of CO2 i.e. just 119g/km. The base petrol variant is Qashqai 360 1.6 Litre with 5-speed manual transmission and capable of generating a power of 117 PS[i.e. 115.4 hp or 86.1 kilo-Watts] with a price tag of £19,945. The highest petrol version of Qashqai 360 is CVT 2.0 Litre Engine with a peak power of 140 PS[i.e. 138.1 hp or 103 kilo-Watts] with a price tag of £22,945. On the other hand, the base diesel variant of Qashqai 360 is a manual 6-speed 1.5 Litre dCi Engine capable of generating a power of 110 PS[i.e. 108.5 hp or 80.9 kilo-Watts] with a price tag of £21,645. The highest diesel variant of Qashqai 360 is 6-speed Auto All-Wheel Drive 2.0 Litre dCi Engine, capable of generating a power of 150 PS[i.e. 148 hp or 110.3 kilo-Watts] with price tag of £25,895.

The Qashqai 360 some exterior features contains the 18-inch Onyx alloy wheels, gloss black mirror caps, gloss black roof rails, ‘360’ exterior badges and rear privacy glass. While some the interior features are panoramic glass roof, part-leather seats with white double stitching, leather covered armrests, gloss black gear shift surround, aluminium pedals, Nissan Connect with 360° Around View Monitor and gloss black door handles. Nissan has launched a new addition to the Qashqai range – the 360. Set to be the best-selling example yet of Nissan’s sector-defining crossover, the 360 sits between the Acenta and Tekna trims, replacing the n-tec+ but offering more equipment for the same £19,945 starting price.

And the Qashqai 360 is expected to be even more popular than the hugely successful n-tec+. The latter accounted for around 60 per cent of Qashqai sales in the UK in 2012, meaning that just this one trim level outsold the entire Ford Mondeo range. The Qashqai n-tec+ also outsold the Kia Sportage and Hyundai ix35 combined too.

With its enhanced specification, the new Qashqai 360 is set to be an even bigger seller. Just like the n-tec+, the 360 features Nissan’s Connect with 360° Around View Monitor system, which integrates satnav with Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity along with four cameras to give a ‘helicopter view’ when parking. Standard equipment also includes 18-inch ‘Onyx’ alloy wheels, rear privacy glass and a panoramic roof.

But the Qashqai 360 boosts styling further adding part-leather trim with double white stitching, a gloss black gearlever surround, gloss black door handles and a leather armrest. Gloss black roof rails, door mirrors and ‘360′ badges mark out the exterior. In addition, a new pearlescent paint – Storm White – has been added to the range, providing the perfect contrast to the 360’s gloss black highlights. Storm White will be available for the same price as metallic paint at £500 extra.

The 360 package is available across all engine and transmission options and can be specified on both the Qashqai and Qashqai+2. Among the most popular variants is likely to be the 1.6 dCi diesel which incorporates stop/start technology for CO2 emissions of just 119g/km and 62.8mpg on the combined cycle. The Qashqai 360 is on sale now, costs from £19,945 and features:

In keeping with the technology crammed into the latest version of the sector-defining crossover, Qashqai fans can now experience what the 360 has to offer using their smart phones.

By using Shazam, the leading media engagement app, anyone watching the Qashqai’s brand new TV advert can jump straight to a new mobile site dedicated to the 360 from the comfort of their living room.

As well as the full story of the car, the site also features unique content, including a game allowing players to drive and park a digital Qashqai against the clock using a simulation of Around View Monitor, an innovative system which uses four cameras to give drivers a 360° ‘helicopter view’. The fastest times recorded in the game will go forward to a European-wide contest to find the most nimble-fingered virtual Qashqai driver.

The mobile site can also be accessed by anyone who sees a Qashqai 360 advert in print, simply by scanning a unique QR code.

Highlighting Nissan’s ongoing commitment to producing innovation that excites, the advanced Qashqai 360 is packed with technology allowing it to be truly connected to the city.

Qashqai 360 features include the Nissan Connect communications system that integrates satellite navigation with audio controls, Apple iPod connectivity and, using Bluetooth, the driver’s mobile phone.

Nissan General Manager for Qashqai in Europe, Ponz Pandikuthira explains: “When it created the compact crossover segment in 2007, the Qashqai ignited a major market trend. Having been unveiled for the first time at the Paris Motor Show in September 2012, Qashqai 360 goes on sale across Europe in January 2013. It builds on the strengths of the current range of which more than 1.4 million have been built to date. The 360 package is available across all engine and transmission options and can be specified in both Qashqai and Qashqai+2 body styles.

Among the most popular variants is likely to be the acclaimed 1.6 dCi diesel which incorporates Stop/Start technology for CO2 emissions of just 119g/km and 62.8mpg on the combined cycle.

As well as the Around View Monitor, special features of the 360 model include gloss black roof rails and mirror caps and distinctive 18-inch machine-finish black alloy wheels. Privacy glass and a luxurious panoramic glass roof are also standard.

Inside there are part leather seats, door trims and armrest as well as a gloss black gear shift surround and door handles. 360 is available in all the existing Qashqai colours as well as Storm White, which is unique to the model.

The pan-European advertising campaign, which kicks off on 9th January on TV, in print and on digital media, is the latest in a long line of adverts that dramatise the relationship between Qashqai – the original crossover – and the urban environment.

After dodging paintball attacks, falling scaffolding and mischievous graffiti in previous adverts, this time the original crossover ‘opens up the city’ thanks to its advanced technology.
