Mercedes high-performance compact class - A45 AMG and C63 AMG Edition 507, are now available on order

Mercedes-AMG has embarked on a new era with the debut of high performance models, the A 45 AMG and C 63 AMG in early March at the 83rd Geneva International Motor Show, Switzerland and both of these models are now available to order in Germany/Europe. A Sneak Peak into Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG Setting up a new benchmark in the high-performance compact class, the Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG is expected to capture younger target group spanning the age range from 30’s to mid 40’s. Flaunting the unique specialities and technical details, the A 45 AMG is claimed to deliver fascinatingly sporty driving experience along with impressive craftsmanship and a broad selection of optional equipments, colours and materials. Delivering the maximum output of 265 kW (360 hp) and a peak torque of 450 Newton metres, it consumes only 6.9 litres of petrol per 100 kilometres, while engine complies with the EU6 emissions standard. It is also adorned with performance-tuned AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive system to bring supreme driving dynamics. Apart from it, its outstanding traction enables the 0-100 km/h sprint to be finished in just 4.6 seconds. Black, Grey and Red have been used to embellish interior and exterior of the A 45 AMG “Edition 1”. Its exterior paint finish is in cirrus white and is complemented by AMG sports stripes in matt graphite grey on the bonnet, roof and sides. Besides it, radiator grille, exterior mirrors and rear aerofoil have been adorned with red detailing to create long lasting impression. Brake callipers are also highlighted in red, while the 8 x 19 multi-spoke light-alloy wheels are painted in matt black along with special AMG hub caps in central-locking appearance. C 63 AMG, the “Edition 507”, it is SLS AMG super car available for the Saloon, Estate and Coupé. It features a power boost of 50 PS (49 HP), an upgraded Mercedes AMG 6.3-liter V8 engine, capable of churning on 507 PS (500 HP) and 610 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque. It is upgraded with the technology found on SLS AMG – namely the forged pistons, connecting rods and lightweight crankshaft.
It is also fitted with AMG high-performance composite brake system that employs red distinct callipers along with six-piston up front and four-piston in the rear and clamping down onto 14.2-inch discs at all four corners to ensure more safety with responsive braking under less than ideal conditions. C63 AMG “Edition 507″ comes with the AMG Driver’s package offered as standard and a voucher for a driver-training course at the AMG Driving Academy to perfect your skill set.
