Many producers have very humble beginnings and Lola is actually no exception. Firm founder Eric Broadley entered motorsport racing Austin Seven Specials. Collectively along with his cousin Graham, he constructed his personal Particular in a small household storage in 1956. Though not significantly profitable, the ‘Broadley Particular’ taught the amount surveyor by commerce priceless classes. Classes he utilized to the primary Lola; an altogether extra superior racing automotive, which was constructed for the 1958 season.

Aimed on the standard 1100 cc class, Broadley designed the brand new Lola across the Coventry Climax FWA 4 cylinder engine.
