For years, Kia has been producing some of the most value-for-money vehicles for major global markets and this year, raising the bar even higher, it is adding new high-spec models of some of their products in the UK. Kia says customers have been expecting more luxury options lately, and as an answer to that it has launched these new models.
In brief, Kia Sorento gets a new flagship model called Sorento ‘KX-4’, Picanto and Rio get new range-topping variants and the pro_cee’d will be available in a new SE Tech trim. Also, customers will now be able to order Picanto and Rio with a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
Starting with the Sorento first, Kia adds a new Sorento ‘KX-4’ flagship model to the Sorento model range. The flagship model is priced at £36,495.
Kia pro_cee’d is now available in a new SE Tech trim which is even more equipped in terms of features. The model is powered by a 1.6-litre CRDi turbodiesel engine that produces 126 hp, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The list of additional features include an electric tilting and sliding sunroof, automatic electric roller blind, black leather seats featuring contrasting mesh inserts, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, Parallel Park Assist System, front parking sensors, a digital LCD instrument cluster and more. The new trim is priced at £22,795.
The Picanto model range has been added with a range topping Picanto ‘4’ model that is powered by a 1.25-liter petrol engine producing 89 lb/ft of torque and 84 hp. New additions on the features list include an electric tilting and sliding sunroof, UV solar windshield glass, privacy glass for tailgate and rear windows, heated steering wheel and smart key entry system with push button start.
