Semiconductor producer Infineon Applied sciences has acquired Cypress Semiconductor Company for $23.85 per share, or about $10.1 billion.
The acquisition will add Cypress’s microcontrollers and software program and connectivity parts, comparable to NOR flash reminiscences, to Infineon’s portfolio.
If accredited by Cypress’s shareholders and regulatory businesses, the acquisition is anticipated to shut by early 2020.
