EV Join is launching its EV Cost Station (EVCS) Certification Program for electrical car (EV) charging station producers.

EV Join says it developed the certification program to permit producers to remotely self-certify and full the overwhelming majority of steps required to make sure that their EV cost stations accommodate the most typical driver, community operator and utility use circumstances.

The EVCS Certification Program ensures that cost station complies with the Open Cost Level Protocol (OCPP), an internationally established, open-standards-based protocol for communication between electrical car EV cost station and cost station networks.

Charging station producers which have already accomplished the certification course of embrace BTCPower, Delta, Aerovironment (Webasto), EVoCharge, EV Field, Tritium and LiteOn. ABB Signet, and Siemens are anticipated to finish the EVCSC program by the summer time of 2019, EV Join says.
