EVSE producer ClipperCreek has launched new ruggedized variations of two of its Degree 2 charging stations. The ruggedized variations of the 48 Amp HCS-60 and 64 Amp HCS-80 charging stations are meant for heavy-utilization fleets, public parking heaps and excessive climate places.

The ruggedized HCS-60 and HCS-80 increase the unique charging stations with rubber overmolded SAE-J1772 connectors, field-replaceable connector latches, and a five-year guarantee. The ruggedized variations can be found for an added $100 to the bottom costs of $899 for the HCS-60 and $969 for the HCS-80.

“We noticed nice buyer acceptance with our first set of ruggedized merchandise, the HCS-40R and PMD-10R, and have continued to obtain requests for the higher-powered ruggedized choices,” mentioned ClipperCreek’s Will Barrett. “ClipperCreek’s customary merchandise are very strong, and all have NEMA four rated enclosures for indoor or outside installs. The overmolded ruggedized SAE-J1772TM connector takes our already powerful merchandise to a different degree.”
