Rally America National Championship followed Super Rally’s success by introducing the 4 rounds U.S. Rallycross Championship, the 1st European style rallycross events on American soil at the New Jersey Motorsports Park. Never before has Americans seen top U.S. rally drivers racing wheel-to-wheel against Europe’s best rallycross drivers in amazing small turbo-charged, 4 wheel-drive exotic machines in a relatively small mixed surface track.
In 2012 Rally America sanctioned the U.S. Rallycross Series at New Jersey Motorsports Park with four more high-energy rallycross events in addition to operating the Rally America National Championship. With an excellent mix of more than thirty Regional stage rally events, a 6-event Rally America National Championship and four U.S. Rallycross Series events making up the 2012 Rally America schedule, it’s certainly a busy season. But 2013 promises to be bigger and better with additional stage rally events now being planned and even more rallycross events added to next year’s event calendar.
