Mini has unveiled the updated, 2015 Mini Paceman at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. Shown in the new form, the car will come with a bunch of updates including a EU6 compliant engine range, a sportier cabin, updated design, new paint finishes, enhanced driving performance, optimized aerodynamics, new light alloy wheels and a more powerful Cooper S Paceman. On the outside the changes brought are subtle and hard to spot, but noticeably there are retouched lights, piano black exterior elements, new color options, new grille pattern and new alloy wheel designs. Mini has also made LED daytime running lights and LED fog lights standard across the entire range. Cooper and Cooper D Paceman get a new 16-inch alloy wheel set that improves fuel efficiency. Cooper S and Cooper SD Paceman equip a 17-inch alloy wheel set while the JCW features Twin Spoke Black Burnished 18-inch alloy wheels. The changes on the interior are, again, very subtle. Adding to the sporty feel of the cabin, there will be anthracite-colored speed and display dials standard across the Paceman range. Also, there will be chrome accents around the ventilation controls. As far as the engines are concerned, all the diesel and petrol units are now EU6 exhaust emissions compliant. While the standard equipment list is long enough, Mini will also offer a generous range of optional features. It includes Bi-Xenon headlamps with adaptive turning, electrically operated glass sunroof, automatic air conditioning, MINI Navigation System, Harman Kardon hi-fi speaker system, multi function steering wheel with cruise control and more.
